This week felt especially long to me, as a post-vacation week so often does. The most exciting thing is happening though! When I left Philadelphia last week, it was definitely still winter. When I returned on Monday, SPRING was in the air! We’ve spent a lot of time outside this week, and observed many examples of nature coming back to life.

I’m tempted to grab a few spring blooms, and try my hand at creating flower mandalas like these by Katy of windsome hollow. I love how these are arranged in a mostly symmetrical way, but they don’t feel fussed over or neurotically perfect. It’s so interesting to see all the parts of a flower arranged two dimensionally, like pieces of a puzzle. Have a beautiful weekend, my friends!

Aw, thanks. I know, I’ve been having some annoying little blog ticks lately. I should have them taken care of soon!
