This is Eva’s last week of half-day preschool. I have such mixed emotions about this change. Shes so much bigger, more capable, more independent, and more social than she was when we started her half-day program. She’s gotten a lot of good out of it, and we will miss seeing the kids, parents and teachers several times a week whom we’ve come to know as friends. I have been talking with her a lot about the new school. I ask her on a regular basis what she’s worried about, and what makes her feel excited. It’s hard to know how she’ll react to all the changes of next week, but for now, we’re enjoying one last week of the routine that’s grown so comfortable and familiar.
